Manufactured for deep-space operations and high-security environments, the Robertech Industries Aegis-Class Automated Door is a standard fixture in off-world facilities where failure is not an option.
Engineered with a reinforced composite frame and multi-layer sealing system, the Aegis door is designed to withstand extreme pressure differentials, radiation exposure, and hostile breaches. Its segmented side panels house magnetic locking rails that engage instantly upon closure, creating an airtight and impact-resistant seal.
At the top interface, a compact control module integrates biometric access, manual override, and emergency lockdown protocols. The system responds in milliseconds, allowing seamless passage under normal conditions—but in restricted mode, it becomes virtually impenetrable.
What sets this unit apart is its adaptive security firmware. After a classified incident aboard a long-haul vessel, several Aegis doors reportedly refused to open, even when proper clearance was granted. Logs showed no malfunction—only a system decision to maintain containment.
